Since 2016 · Tallinn and online

You know the material. We work on the ten minutes when you have to say it out loud.

Spake Studio prepares founders, engineers and team leads for the talks that matter — investor pitches, conference sessions, internal reviews, difficult all-hands. No motivational theatre, just structure, rehearsal and honest feedback.

Programmes

Three formats. Most people start with the first one and come back for the third before a big date.

Individual coaching

Six sessions over five weeks. We rebuild one real talk from the ground up: message, structure, slides, delivery. Between sessions you record yourself and we review the recordings together.

  • 60 minutes per session
  • Written notes after each meeting
  • Slide review included

Team workshop

One or two days with a group of six to twelve. Everyone brings a real presentation. By the end of day two everyone has delivered it twice and rewritten it once.

  • On site or online
  • Two coaches per group
  • Recording kit provided

Rehearsal room

The week before the event. You run the talk end to end, we sit in the audience and push back the way a real room will. Usually three passes are enough.

  • 90 minute blocks
  • Q&A stress test
  • Same-day written debrief

How it works

01

Intro call

Twenty minutes. What are you speaking at, who is in the room, what has gone wrong before.

02

Baseline recording

You deliver the talk as it stands today. We watch it once without stopping and once with a stopwatch.

03

Rebuild

Message first, then structure, then slides. Delivery is last — there is no point polishing a sentence that should not be there.

04

Rehearsal

Three full passes in front of people who are allowed to interrupt. This is where most of the improvement happens.

Seed pitch, hardware startup

Fourteen slides cut to nine, the ask moved from the end to minute two. The founder stopped apologising for the price. Rehearsed eleven times over two weeks.

Conference session, 400 seats

A forty minute talk that ran to fifty-five in rehearsal. We removed the second demo and gave the time back to questions. Ran to thirty-nine on the day.

About

Spake Studio started in 2016 as two people renting a room above a bookshop and running rehearsal evenings for anyone who had a talk coming up. It is now eleven coaches, most of whom came from theatre, teaching or product management, and a small studio near the old harbour.

We are deliberately narrow. We do not do media training, we do not write speeches for you, and we do not promise that nerves go away — they do not, and that is fine. What we do is make sure the thing you stand up to say is worth the attention of the room, and that you have said it out loud enough times to trust yourself.

Privacy

We collect only what you send us through the booking form: a name, a way to reach you, and what you are preparing for. Session recordings stay with the coach and are deleted thirty days after the programme ends unless you ask us to keep them. We do not sell or share any of it, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Terms

Programmes are booked by the block and paid before the first session. Sessions can be moved once at no cost with at least twenty-four hours notice; later than that the session counts as used. If you stop a programme halfway we refund the sessions you have not taken. Prices are quoted per programme on the intro call and hold for thirty days.
